Sometimes I draw things and completely forget about them, such as this picture I did earlier this year.
Under my own rules a “weekly drawing” must be created in the week it is posted, so while this is not strictly a weekly drawing, when I came across it yesterday I thought it deserved a place on the blog – particularly as it looks exactly like the sort of house which only appears at Halloween!

Thank you! It’s art-liners of different thicknesses (my favourite medium).
I used to draw as a child but stopped when I reached high school and spent years thinking I couldn’t draw at all! 3 years ago I took a basic drawing class at my local evening college (lots of still life and fruit) and now I can’t stop. I encourage everyone to find a class and give it a go! You never know what you might be able to do!
It’s a wonderful relaxing hobby and a very good complement to the writing side of the brain!
